Public Works Board schedules public workshops on new broadband service access law

The Washington State Public Works Board (PWB) will hold three public stakeholder workshops in December to discuss the implementation of Washington’s new Broadband Internet Service Access law.

PWB stakeholder outreach events
December 4 | Olympia
December 16 | Wenatchee
December 18 | Spokane

The stakeholder workshops will help set priorities for rulemaking work. Potential topics may include defining public private partnerships, defining and documenting underserved areas, determining the threshold for affordability for low-income residents, and defining an effective objections process.
