Last month, Governor Inslee reissued his emergency proclamation, directing all energy, telecommunications, and water utilities in the state to continue to suspend disconnection of services for nonpayment, unilateral waiving of late fees, working with
affected utility customers to establish payment arrangement, and improving access to energy assistance for affected customers. We know this has been a very challenging time for cities as well as for our customers.
AWC, along with other local government advocates, is working to communicate the needs of customer-owned utilities and their ratepayers, but we need your help to inform our advocacy efforts.
Your jurisdiction's response is critical in helping inform us of your community’s needs. Click here to view an outline of the survey (PDF) before you begin. We strongly encourage you to review the outline before starting the survey. The survey itself
should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. If you have any feedback or problems with the survey, please contact Maggie Douglas via email or phone (360-789-0213).
To access the survey, click here. Please complete this survey by Thursday, April 8.
We know this is a difficult time for all, and we appreciate the time and resources your city is investing in completing our survey.
Thank you in advance for your help!
