Governor’s Office publishes Phase 3 guidelines

Contact: Candice Bock, Jacob Ewing

On March 22, the state of Washington moved into Phase 3 of the Healthy Washington: Roadmap to Recovery plan. Under the new guidelines, cities can increase the capacity of public meetings from 25% of the posted room capacity to 50% of the posted room capacity. However, cities are still required to provide the public virtual access to meetings. Additionally, Phase 3 brings new guidelines for restaurants, gyms and fitness centers, movie theaters, and other indoor businesses. A full list of updated guidelines is available on the Governor’s website.
