Grants for HB 1923 close soon

Commerce is still accepting housing-related grant applications with fast-approaching deadlines this fall.

The Washington Department of Commerce is currently accepting grant applications for $5 million available for eligible activities that increase residential building capacity, streamline permitting, or create a housing action plan. Deadlines are as follows:

  • Applications from cities over 20,000 in population are due September 30.
  • For cities with less than 20,000 in population, applications are due October 15.
