House Transportation Committee holds public hearing with local government representatives

Contact: Marian Dacca, Maggie Douglas

Last week, we reported that the House Transportation Committee planned to hold a work session on Thursday, February 18 to explore current and emerging transportation needs.

Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin served as a city representative to the Committee and discussed the importance for investment in maintenance and preservation of city transportation infrastructure. She emphasized the need for reliable transportation infrastructure to support economic growth, especially during the aftermath of COVID-19.
