Join us for a full-day training on maintaining compliance while using ARPA funds

Contact: Candice Bock, Jacob Ewing

AWC invites you to attend a full-day online training on the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), presented by Clark Nuber, a Washington-based accounting firm.

With the passage of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), for the first time ever all Washington cities received federal funds to address the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. While the more than $1 billion will have a positive impact on many communities around the state, cities now need to consider how they will administer, use, and track these federal funds.

During this six-hour webinar, speakers from Clark Nuber will provide useful and applicable information for cities of all sizes as they manage ARPA funds over the next five years. Topics will include:

  • Exploring proper use of funds;
  • Taking a deep dive into the Uniform Guidance Code;
  • Managing subrecipients of ARPA funds; and
  • Examining common challenges and pitfalls cities may face while using federal funds.

This webinar is for elected officials, city managers/administrators, finance directors/treasurers/clerks, and ARPA coordinating staff.

This is a unique training opportunity you will not want to miss. Register today!
