Department of Transportation conducting equity baseline assessment

Contact: Marian Dacca, Maggie Douglas

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), in coordination with the Washington State Office of Equity, is conducting an equity baseline assessment. The assessment, in the form of a survey, will help WSDOT and the state identify actions and policy and procedure revisions that are needed to ensure their work bridges opportunity gaps and reduces disparities to create equitable and just outcomes for everyone in Washington.

To establish an accurate baseline, WSDOT is sharing the strategic planning listening survey as broadly as possible. To access the survey, click here. WSDOT asks that your city complete the survey by Friday, June 25. Additionally, WSDOT is hosting three virtual stakeholder equity listening sessions. Please contact the Office of Equity or Jackie Bayne, Office of Equal Opportunity Policy Manager.
