Mark your calendars! The Infrastructure Assistance Coordinating Council’s (IACC) 2022 annual conference is scheduled for October 18-20 at the Wenatchee Convention Center. This year’s theme is Building Back Together.
A call for session proposals is now open. The submission deadline is Friday, June 3. Please consider presenting your program or experience for the benefit of the people of Washington.
About the conference
For over 30 years, IACC has offered a wide variety of training sessions at its annual conference. The perspectives and expertise provided by the numerous presenting agencies, organizations, and volunteers have led to the ongoing success of this conference.
Details on this year’s event can be found on IACC’s conference webpage.
Who attends the conference?
Elected officials and staff from cities and towns, counties, tribes, special districts, water associations, consulting engineers, regulatory agency staff, state and federal funding program staff, nonprofit technical assistance providers, and product vendors
attend every year.
This year, IACC is looking for sessions on the following topics:
- Case studies showcasing funding recipients and their experiences;
- The project development process, start to finish;
- The grant writing process;
- Funding types and ideas; and
- Steps to take to access new infrastructure funding.
How to submit a session proposal
The online portal is now open for session proposal submissions. Sessions will be 60 minutes long. Describe your session as it would
appear in the conference brochure. Limit your description to 500 characters. When you complete the form, you will receive a confirmation email from Google Forms. Keep the confirmation email – it contains a link you can use to edit your submission
up to the final submission deadline of June 3.
