Certificate of Municipal Leadership (CML) program
AWC’s Certificate of Municipal Leadership (CML) program recognizes mayors and councilmembers for accomplishing training in five competency areas. Our trainings provide city elected officials with the knowledge they need to effectively operate within the law, plan for the future, secure and manage funds, foster strong relationships, and work to build more equitable communities.
When you attend an AWC workshop, conference, or on-demand training that offers CML credits, you are automatically enrolled in the program and begin to earn credits. AWC tracks your credits, and you can check your progress online.
