JLARC extends public records reporting deadline

Contact: Candice Bock, Jacob Ewing

Due to technical difficulties, the Joint Legislative Audit & Review Committee (JLARC) extended the reporting deadline for FY 2019 public records metrics to September 25, 2020.

Only those cities that spent over $100,000 during FY 2019 in staff and legal costs associated with maintaining public records and responding to public records requests are required to submit data to JLARC.

Cities and towns that spend less than $100,000 are asked to voluntarily submit key metrics or to report that they spent less than $100,000.

The reporting system and additional guidance documents are available on the JLARC website.
