A cyberattack can be debilitating for any size city or town. But knowing where to start to understand your level of cybersecurity can be daunting. You’re not alone! Check out these two resources to take either the first step, or the next step, in securing your information resources:

Review the one page list of resources from the State Auditor’s Office.

Join the Center for Internet Security. Membership is free. They have a Do it Yourself section for those not sure where to begin. It includes a prioritized set of 20 actions to take to beat the most common attacks.
