New transportation revenue proposal to be heard

The chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee, Sen. Steve Hobbs (D–Lake Stevens), will hold a hearing this week on his proposal for a new transportation revenue package.

The proposal is not yet public but can be found on the committee homepage on the day of the hearing. The package is unlikely to pass this session, but this hearing will provide insight into potential revenue options and expenditures, as well as the positions of various transportation stakeholders.

The Senate Transportation Committee will hold a work session to receive public comments at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, February 5.
