Treasury releases guidance for American Rescue Plan Act

Contact: Peter King, Jacob Ewing

On May 10, the Treasury released long-awaited guidance for how cities can receive and use federal funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Below are several key links to information for cities:

Treasury indicated that more information for non-entitlement cities will become available in the next several days including a chart of allocations for non-entitlement cities.

AWC encourages cities to review the interim final rule, the FAQ document, as well as other Treasury guidance while planning how to use federal funds from the ARPA.

As more information becomes available, AWC will provide updates to members. If you have questions about ARPA, please contact Peter King or Jacob Ewing.
