Senate and House both release supplemental capital budgets

Contact: Andrew Pittelkau

The Senate and House both moved a supplemental capital budget bill out of committee, SSB 6095 and HB 2395.

  • The House adds $5 million in bond capacity for the Community Economic Revitalization Board (CERB);
  • Both bills add $11.665 million for 22 projects to the Recreation and Conservation Funding Board;
    • The House adds an additional $1.0 million and one project;
  • Both add funding to expanding behavioral health community capacity;
    • Senate adds $30 million;
    • House adds $29.1 million;
  • Both bills add funding from the Volkswagen diesel settlement for various clean air projects; and
  • The House adds $4.0 million to the housing trust fund.

AWC appreciates the House’s prioritization of CERB and the additional investment in the housing trust fund. See the summaries on the state fiscal website for more details.
