Pollinator habitat protection bill passes Legislature

SB 5552 was amended in the House and passed unanimously by the Legislature. The House amendment requires that the bill be funded in the budget, or it is null and void. The bill has local governments playing a role in promoting practices to ensure a sustainable population of managed and native pollinators.
