When will the Healthy Worksite Summit take place?

The conference will take place March 12-13. All sessions will be held in-person at the Lynnwood Event Center.

What time are scheduled events taking place?

Refer to the conference schedule to see what time sessions are taking place.

Can I pay with a credit card?

If you pay with a credit card, your billing address must match your address in the registration process. If it does not, add a new address that matches, otherwise your payment will be declined. You also have the option to ask for an invoice.

Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?

Upon registration, you will be able to email the registration confirmation to your email account or to multiple email accounts.

What does my registration include?

If a governing body attends a training session, is it a public meeting subject to the OPMA?

MRSC has advice on attending trainings, and you should always consult with your city attorney on questions about the OPMA.

Can I share registration with a co-worker?

No. The registration fee includes access to the conference for one person. Badge sharing or splitting is strictly prohibited.

If I cancel my conference registration, can I get a refund?

Registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by February 10. A refund of the full fee, minus a $75 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date. Submit all requests to registration@awcnet.org.

AWC regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. Substitutions are gladly accepted! The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution.

Conference badge sharing or splitting is strictly prohibited. In the event that the Healthy Worksite Summit is cancelled, or any portion of the event is cancelled, we will make every attempt to notify you. View our terms & conditions.

What can I expect at the exhibit hall?

Healthy Worksite Summit sponsor and exhibitor booths will be set up throughout the event center.

Can I earn continuing education credits for attending the conference?

AWC has applied for continuing education credits. Keep an eye on this page for updates.

Menus

AWC strives to provide meals that can accommodate diverse dietary needs. However, we cannot guarantee all dietary restrictions can be accommodated. If you have special dietary needs, please enter this information when registering for the conference. A special meal ticket will be provided with your name badge to present to your server at the event. Unless prior arrangements are made, the serving staff will not be able to accommodate special requests. Menus for specific meals or events are posted near the AWC Registration Kiosk.

How do I make my hotel reservations?

Is there a Mother’s Room?

Yes, the Lynnwood Event Center provides a lounge for new mothers on the lower level off the women’s restroom. The mother’s room includes comfortable chairs, side tables, and electrical outlets.

Will there be a quiet room?

Yes, the quiet room can be found on the lower level to provide attendees an opportunity to relax from the overwhelm or overload of a busy conference environment. The quiet room is intended to be a place to recharge throughout the event. It is not for conversations or listening to anything without headphones.

How can I request disability accommodations?

The Healthy Worksite Summit strives to provide accessible educational opportunities for all individuals, including those with disabilities. Please contact Gina Abram at AWC, 360-753-4137, at least seven business days prior to the Summit if any disability accommodations are needed. For TDD users, please use the state’s toll-free relay service, 800-833-6388, and ask the operator to dial the AWC number.

Parking

Parking at the Lynnwood Convention Center is free.
