Effective January 1, 2014, the AWC Employee Benefit Trust began self-insuring medical, dental, and vision coverage and in 2023 provides self-insured coverage through the following carriers: Regence BlueShield/Asuris Northwest Health, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington Options Inc., Delta Dental of Washington, Willamette Dental Group, and Vision Service Plan. (Other Trust offered insurance products were fully-insured in 2023.)
As a participating member of the AWC Employee Benefit Trust self-insured Health Care Program, we are providing you with sample language for your financial statement note. This information should be included in your 2023 annual financial report.
