This session is designed to provide elected officials with a comprehensive understanding of municipal revenue streams focusing on the four main sources of general revenues provided to cities by the state Legislature. Participants will gain insights into the mechanisms of revenue generation, the legal and regulatory frameworks governing taxes and the strategic considerations for optimizing revenue collection, and resources for revenue options.
