Update on AWC’s City Action Days

Contact: registration@awcnet.org

We are aware of the weather forecast throughout Washington and are monitoring weather conditions. We anticipate holding City Action Days, February 13-14, as scheduled and encourage you to exercise caution as you travel to Olympia.

We recognize the inclement weather may cause problems for some of our members and guests who are traveling to Olympia for City Action Days. While the cancellation deadline for this event has passed, we are pleased to offer a credit for a future AWC event if you are unable to attend City Action Days due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstances. This credit is redeemable for only one AWC event for a value up to the amount paid for your registration fee. The credit is for one-time use, not transferable, and must be used for an AWC event taking place in 2019.

To receive the credit, please notify AWC by end of day February 13, 2019. Please submit all credit requests to registration@awcnet.org. If you are not able to notify AWC by end of day February 13, 2019, you will be considered a "no-show" and we will not be able to give credit.

If you have made lodging arrangements and decide to cancel, please contact the hotel directly. AWC is not responsible for any travel or lodging related expenses. For a list of hotel contact information, please visit our housing webpage.

We will continue to monitor the weather. In the event that City Action Days is cancelled we will make every attempt to notify you. If cancelled, the amount paid to AWC for conference registration will be refunded. However, AWC will not be held responsible for any travel or lodging costs related to such cancellation.
