Hotel changes/cancellations

Guests are responsible for paying for their own accommodations. All changes and cancellations must be made directly with the hotel. The hotel must receive notice of cancellation at least 72 hours prior to the arrival date and a cancellation number must be obtained by the guest to avoid penalty charges for one-night stay.

In the event City Action Days is cancelled, or any portion of the event is cancelled, we will make every attempt to notify you. However, AWC will not be held responsible for any travel or lodging costs related to such cancellation.

AWC is not responsible for any penalty or no-show charges.

AWC has worked diligently with the hotels to establish a room block for our attendees. Improper solicitation of hotel reservations from any company or housing provider other than AWC is not approved. Reservations made by unaffiliated organizations may appear to be for lower rates; however, they may be illegitimate, have unreasonable cancellations or change penalties, or be completely non-refundable. Please be aware of and report any unauthorized solicitation to AWC at registration@awcnet.org.
