AWC is recruiting city elected officials and senior-level city staff to serve on the AWC Federal Legislative Priorities Committee.
About the Legislative Priorities Committee
The Federal Legislative Priorities Committee is responsible for developing and recommending AWC's federal priorities to the AWC Board of Directors. The committee is balanced by representation from urban, rural, large and small cities from Eastern and Western Washington. All mayors and councilmembers are welcome to apply.
Time commitment
The Federal Legislative Priorities Committee generally meets twice per year in the fall. These may be stand-alone meetings or in conjunction with an AWC conference.
Committee members serve two-year terms. Members appointed this year will serve through December 2027.
