Several HR-related bills did not make it out of committee in time for further consideration. The following bills are considered dead for the session:
- HB 1571/SB 6180 would have significantly expanded the criteria for heart disease as a presumptive occupational disease for firefighters.
- HB 2144 aimed to create notice requirements for employers seeking to use electronic monitoring methods for performance evaluations.
- HB 2372/SB 6067 sought changes to employer contributions for permanent total disability benefits that would have been costly to employers.
- SB 5882 would have made post-traumatic stress disorder a presumptive occupational disease for local correctional facility workers.
