Here are some helpful tips to ensure that you are compliant with the FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements:
- Ensure that you are registered as an employer with the FMCSA Clearinghouse and have purchased the appropriate number of queries for your drivers in the random pool. Login to the AWC D&A website for easy-to-follow instructions on Clearinghouse registration.
- If you are purchasing queries for the first time for existing drivers, you will need to obtain the driver’s electronic consent in the Clearinghouse. Once that is complete, we recommend that you run a full query.
- If you notice that driver information is missing in the Clearinghouse database (i.e, date of birth, driver's license number), complete a random pool update form and use our secure email center to securely send the form in.
- Confirm that you have limited query consent forms on file for all CDL employees. A sample one can be found here.
