About the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee

The Affordable Housing Advisory Board consists of 22 members representing a variety of housing interests around the state, two of which represent cities (one from eastern Washington and one from western Washington). The board: 1) analyzes solutions and programs that could begin to address the state’s need for housing; 2) considers both homeownership and rental housing as viable options for the provision of housing; 3) reviews, evaluates, and makes recommendations regarding existing and proposed housing programs and initiatives; and 4) prepares and submits a report detailing its findings and recommendations.
