Retro staff were delighted to spend an evening with members in Yakima at our Retro Annual Meeting. A special thanks to our guest speakers from the City of Kennewick Police Department on how they are providing support for their PTSD-impacted workers. Attendees were clearly interested in their very engaging presentation that included the purpose of their peer support program, how they got officer buy in, and their successful efforts to get increased participation.
Along with highlights of the Retro program, staff discussed PTSD presumptive claims, identifying that we are still in early years of engagement with presumptive PTSD claims, but are committed to share the data and lessons learned with members. Staff shared some highlights of our new Gardiant claims portal including viewing individual claims, loss runs and cost reports and highlighted some important member communications.
