AWC continues to work with public and private utilities, the Governor’s Office, the Department of Commerce, and other stakeholders to develop and secure $100 million in one-time
funding for a utility customer relief program. While this funding was included in the Governor’s proposed supplemental budget, the funding is not guaranteed unless the Legislature agrees and prioritizes the request in its final budget.
