JLARC opens public records reporting system

Contact: Candice Bock, Jacob Ewing

In early May, JLARC announced the opening of the public records request reporting system. Agencies that spend over $100,000 in staff and legal costs associated with maintaining public records and responding to records requests are required to report. JLARC staff ask that agencies that do not meet this threshold log in and voluntarily report on these metrics or indicate that the agency did not meet the threshold for required reporting. The deadline for reporting 2020 data is July 1, 2021.
