Contact: Candice Bock, Jacob Ewing

On July 30, Governor Inslee issued Proclamation 20-64. The proclamation exempts personal information collected by either COVID-19 tracers or via visitor/employee logs from being released in response to a public records request.

Exempted personal information includes:

  • Name
  • Date of birth (month, day, and year)
  • Photograph
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Street or mailing address
  • Any other information that could be used to identify an individual

These exemptions do not apply to the name or location of a business or entity that is part of a contact tracing investigation.

The proclamation expires on Saturday, August 29.
