Companion bills to secure transportation funding are scheduled for hearings. The funding is provided by the Connecting Washington package for the Transportation Improvement Board (TIB), the Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Board (FMSIB), and the County Road Administrative Board (CRAB) are scheduled for hearings.

These agencies provide necessary transportation resources for local governments and AWC is strongly supportive of the legislation.

Rep. Jared Mead’s (D–Mill Creek) HB 1508 will be heard on February 6 at 3:30 pm in the House Transportation Committee.

Sen. Dean Takko’s (D–Kelso) SB 5521 will be heard on February 6 at 3:30 pm in the Senate Transportation Committee.
