Both companion bills that were introduced to fix Initiative 940 (I-940) are moving very quickly.
HB 1064 was heard on the first day of session and passed out of its policy committee the next day. SB 5029 was heard on the second day of session and passed out of its committee on January 17. Each bill is now in either in rules or fiscal committee. There was no opposition testimony in either hearing.
