Initiative 976 is an Initiative to the Legislature which proposes to cap car tab fees to $30 and limit or eliminate other vehicle fees, including some fees used to fund Transportation Benefit Districts.
On January 3, more than 350,000 signatures were submitted to the Secretary of State. The initiative needs approximately 260,000 signatures to be certified and sent to the Legislature.
