Police body camera task force continues to meet, report due by end of year

The state’s task force on body-worn cameras will meet on October 16 in Ellensburg. The task force has the responsibility to provide findings and recommendations related to costs assessed to records requesters, policies adopted by agencies, retention and retrieval of data, model policies, and the use of body-worn cameras for gathering evidence, surveillance, and police accountability. The report is due to the Legislature on December 1, 2017.
