Extension of transit-oriented SEPA authority

HB 1740 extends a targeted authority that restricts State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) appeals of certain projects near transit lines that are within a planned action area designated by a city. This authority is set to sunset in 2018. This bill would push the sunset date to 2028 but with a new conditions that developments must set aside 20 percent of the dwelling units for low-income households.
