SB 5024 and SB 5239 present alternative approaches to the Hirst water case that has potentially profound implications on the management of water resources in the state. We are actively engaging with all parties to try to find a resolution to this issue that finds a responsible middle path to ensure that the state’s water management system is able to accommodate the pressures of today and the growth pressures we face tomorrow.
