Conferences refund/cancellation policy

Submit all cancellation and refund requests to AWC Registration via email at Refunds are based on event type and granted in accordance with the terms noted below. AWC regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. Substitutions are gladly accepted! The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. Badge sharing is strictly prohibited.


All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by October 17. A refund of the full conference fee, minus a $25 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date. No refunds will be granted for requests received after October 17 and full payment is expected.

Consent of use

Attendance at or participation in any AWC Partner and/or Affiliate workshop, conference or event constitutes an agreement that attendee name, title, business address, and any photographs, video, audio, or other visual or audio reproduction obtained during the event can be used for promotion and recruitment, including Internet and website use. AWC, Partner and/or Affiliate are released from any liability connected with the use of event images or voices.

Special needs

AWC and its Partner and/or Affiliate strive to provide accessible educational opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Please contact Cathi Read at (360) 725-3016 or by September 22 if any disability accommodations are needed. For TDD users, please use the state’s toll-free relay service, (800) 833-6388, and ask the operator to dial the AWC number.

Special dietary needs

If you have special dietary needs, please include the information when you register contact Cathi Read at (360) 725-3016 or least seven business days prior to the meal event. Unless prior arrangements are made, the serving staff will not be able to accommodate special requests.

Guest registration

Some conferences and events offer a guest registration. Please see event web page for more details. Conference and workshop session seats are reserved for full conference or workshop registrants.


Scholarships apply to the cost of registration for the event (travel and lodging are not included). If you register using a scholarship and cancel your registration or do not attend, your city will be charged a cancellation fee.
