Temporary expanded alcohol services

In 2025, the Legislature passed HB 1515 to allow cities, counties, and ports to establish outdoor alcohol consumption areas, or “libation zones,” to support restaurants and other businesses during the World Cup. Cities and towns can utilize libation zones for local events and activities not associated with the World Cup. The law sunsets December 31, 2027.
