New service agreements coming in December!

Why a new service agreement? Our service agreement has historically been treated as a rolling agreement; it is either renewed with the payment of the annual invoice or ended with a member’s notice of membership termination.

Why a new service agreement? Our service agreement has historically been treated as a rolling agreement; it is either renewed with the payment of the annual invoice or ended with a member’s notice of membership termination. We have found that for organizations with turnover and even some without it), leadership cannot locate a copy of their agreement, and are not aware of the agreement’s contents, rights, and obligations. We also want to ensure our standard language is sufficiently specific and legally correct, allowing for a contract that does not require multiple addendums or exhibits to meet members’ needs.

What to expect

The week of December 11, you will receive an email notification from DocuSign notifying you of a new service agreement. The email will contain a link that will direct you to the DocuSign portal, where you can securely review and electronically sign the agreement at your convenience. If you need to forward it to another party for signing, we will include instructions on how to do so. Once the DocuSign process is complete you will receive a copy of the completed document.

Gardiant user authorization

Along with the new service agreement is a claims portal access form for entity leadership to review and approve. With our move to the Gardiant platform, AWC Retro is revamping our process to grant access to claims information. Our new process is quick and painless, but it is deliberate and ensures entity leadership is apprised of whom it grants workers’ comp claims access to.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to providing you with an enhanced and streamlined experience.
