AWC launches <em>HR Insights</em> newsletter for coverage of human resources issues

AWC has launched a new bi-monthly newsletter for members with an HR and employment issues focus. Our first issue of the HR Insights newsletter was sent out last Thursday.

HR Insights is oriented towards keeping our cities’ HR and labor relations professionals up-to-speed on the latest developments and helping them navigate the often complex world of human resources management. Like AWC’s Legislative Bulletin, HR Insights will follow new policy developments from federal and state legislatures and agencies. However, it will also dive deep into other aspects of HR and labor issues and work to connect city HR staff with the current trends and training opportunities.

The newsletter will go out every other month to AWC’s member staff that work in human resources and labor relations. However, those staff are free to share it within their city organization. The development of HR Insights is largely due to the loyal readership of the HR and labor relations articles in our Legislative Bulletin that suggested a high demand for information in these areas.
