The Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Board (FMSIB) recently released their <a target="_blank" href="http://www.fmsib.wa.gov/dcs/annuals/20200121-FMSIB2019_AnnualReport_ElectronicCopy.pdf">2019 annual report</a>.
The Freight Mobility Strategic Investment Board (FMSIB) recently released their 2019 annual report.
FMSIB was created by the Legislature in 1998 to address freight mobility issues within the state. FMSIB identifies and ranks construction projects designed to improve freight movement by reducing traffic conflicts—including traffic conflicts that occur in Washington cities as freight moves through city streets, ports, and airports.
FMSIB has provided financial and institutional support to many projects across Washington cities, including projects in the following cities:
- Lacey
- Tacoma
- Seattle
- Fife
- Kent
- Spokane Valley
- Sumner
Furthermore, upcoming projects will take place in the following cities:
- Fife
- Longview
- Marysville
- Spokane Valley
- Sumner
- Tacoma
