Updates to motorcycle parking requirements

<a target="_blank" href="https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=6565&amp;Initiative=false&amp;Year=2019"><strong>SB 6565</strong></a>, sponsored by Sen. Emily Randall (D&ndash;Bremerton), mandates that motorcycles parked along a highway must be parked parallel or at an angle with at least one wheel within twelve inches of the curb.

SB 6565, sponsored by Sen. Emily Randall (D–Bremerton), mandates that motorcycles parked along a highway must be parked parallel or at an angle with at least one wheel within twelve inches of the curb. The bill authorizes cities to prohibit angle parking for motorcycles, but cities must post visible signage to inform drivers.
