Supreme Court declines to consider <em>Martin v. Boise</em> case

The U.S. Supreme Court will let stand the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals <a target="_blank" href="/news/2018/09/21/ninth-circuit-decision-on-criminalizing-homelessness">decision</a> on <em>Martin v. Boise</em>.

The U.S. Supreme Court will let stand the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals decision on Martin v. Boise.

The decision prevents the prosecution of homeless people for camping and sleeping in public spaces unless shelter space is available.

This leaves in place the law that Washington cities have been adapting to since September 2018.
