CERB approves over $5 million for community & economic development

The Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board (CERB) approved more than $5 million in grants and loans to support community and economic development.

The Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board (CERB) approved more than $5 million in grants and loans to support community and economic development.

CERB approved $3,456,279 in loans and $1,760,221 in grants for economic development, public infrastructure development, and economic feasibility studies targeting business growth, job creation, and rural broadband development.

A highlight of some funding recipients include:

  • The Port of Benton;
  • The Port of Ridgefield;
  • The Port of Woodland; and
  • The City of Othello.

The next application deadline for Tier 1 projects is January 13, 2020. More information about CERB resources can be found on the agency’s website.
