H3ManualWe recently made corrections to the newly revised Homelessness & Housing Toolkit for cities to reflect the Departments of Revenue’s (DOR) guidance on HB 1406. DOR released its guidance after publication of the toolkit.

If you picked up a hard copy of the toolkit at one of AWC’s Cities on Tap events, be sure to look at the corrected timeline and other information in the article on HB 1406 implementation on pages 16-17.

The publication provides real-world examples of tools and actions Washington cities have used in responding to the issues of homelessness and affordable housing. The toolkit also includes articles on housing levies, tenant protections, tax exemptions, regional coalitions, emergency rental assistance, and more.
