We recently made corrections to the newly revised Homelessness & Housing Toolkit for cities to reflect the Departments of Revenue’s (DOR) guidance on HB 1406. DOR released its guidance after publication of the toolkit.

The publication provides real-world examples of tools and actions Washington cities have used in responding to the issues of homelessness and affordable housing. The toolkit also includes articles on housing levies, tenant protections, tax exemptions, regional coalitions, emergency rental assistance, and more.
