Vacating cannabis misdemeanor convictions bill advances

<a target="_blank" href="https://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=5605&amp;Initiative=false&amp;Year=2019"><strong>SB 5605</strong></a> passed the Senate 29-19 and is now in the House Public Safety Committee awaiting a hearing.

The bill has not been amended. SB 5605 allows a person convicted of a misdemeanor marijuana offense, who was at least twenty-one years old at the time of the offense, to apply to the sentencing court to vacate the record of conviction.
