Transportation cameras bill allows use in prosecution of crimes

HB 1229 is scheduled for a hearing by the House Public Safety Committee on Monday, January 21. The bill allows local law enforcement with a lawfully issued search warrant to gain access to photos, and other data collected by cameras used to enforce tolls. Investigative information would be exempt from public disclosure.
