AWC recently participated in a conversation with Democratic lawmakers and housing, homelessness and faith community advocates to discuss opportunities to provide new tools and resources that address the challenges of homelessness and housing affordability. We are encouraged that there seems to be a lot of interest in providing more assistance in the 2018 session. In addition to the ideas we supported in 2017, cities and other stakeholders have brought several new creative ideas forward.
