AWC) seeks a city manager, administrator, or finance director to serve as an employer representative on the on the Law Enforcement Officers' and Fire Fighters' (LEOFF) Plan 2 Retirement Board. The AWC Board will forward successful nominees to the Governor's Office for consideration of appointment.
About the LEOFF Plan 2 Retirement Board
The LEOFF Plan 2 Retirement Board studies pension issues and serves in a fiduciary capacity of the LEOFF Plan 2 retirement plan and sets contribution rates. The Board also recommends pension policy to the Legislature in the interest of the members and beneficiaries of LEOFF Plan 2.

Time commitment, travel expenses
The LEOFF Plan 2 Retirement Board meets monthly in-person and online. Members serve without compensation and may be reimbursed for travel expenses. AWC does not cover any expenses.
Application process
The AWC Board of Directors will review materials at its next meeting and submit three nominees to the Governor's Office. Final appointment of the selected candidate will come from the Governor.

- Complete the AWC interest form stating why you are interested in serving, including your qualifications and attached resume.
- Complete the application for gubernatorial appointment. This application is sent directly to the Governor’s Office and it will not be part of the materials reviewed by the AWC Board of Directors. Therefore, it is important your AWC interest form provide details pertinent to this position.
