Frequency of Operating Committee meetings
RMSA Operating Committee meets three to four meetings a year, generally around four to six hours long in the SeaTac area – your travel expenses are reimbursed. Committee members serve two-year terms
Expenses
RMSA pays all expenses associated with travel to and from meetings, including transportation, meals, and lodging. Time spent away from work to attend meetings is not reimbursed.
Meeting content
Operating Committee members meet with RMSA staff and consultants to hear updates on financials, membership, claims, risk management and more. Members have the opportunity to share feedback on various topics including coverage, policies, rates, and other items important to municipalities.
