Continuing education credits

Mayors and councilmembers who participate in the 2020 AWC Annual Conference Online will earn 10 credits for AWC’s Certificate of Municipal Leadership (CML) program.

After Conference, elected officials will automatically receive 10 CML credits under the effective local leadership competency. To have your CML credits recorded in any other competency category, elected officials will need to complete the electronic evaluation sent after Conference and indicate which sessions you completed.

For more information on recording or tracking your CML credits, contact Karen Tanner.

Can we watch as a group? If so, do elected officials each earn CML credits?

Depending on the Governor's social distancing guidelines, people may be able to watch the sessions as a group. Each elected official will earn CML credits (see above). Or they can complete the group viewing certificate and email Karen Tanner.
