Note: The conference will officially kick off in the afternoon this year, with optional early start sessions the morning of February 13.

Last summer, AWC members were asked to participate in a survey to help us set our strategic direction for the next three years. Now, our draft strategic plan framework is complete and we are reaching out to you once again to ensure the plan reflects your input. We welcome your feedback by December 31!

Get Involved! Education Advisory Committee recruitment
AWC is seeking applications from volunteers to serve on the AWC Education Advisory Committee (EAC). The EAC serves as a resource to AWC staff, helping to identify educational opportunities that are valuable to our members, advising on a certificate program that recognizes educational accomplishments of elected officials, and joining the discussion on appropriate educational delivery methods. City elected officials and non-elected officials are welcome to apply. Applications due January 11.

What do you love about your city? Where do you take visitors to show off your local flavor? We’d love to see it! AWC issues playing card decks as swag at many of our events. The decks feature beautiful and interesting photos showcasing our 281 cities and towns. Send us your photos! If you play your cards right, your city could be featured! Deadline is January 11.
